“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4: 4-6

Apostle Paul wrote this letter to Philippians while in jail. And what he is telling them to do? Rejoice!

Paul was thrown in prison numerous times, flogged severey, faced death on many, yet he kept his eyes on heaven, trusting God and “rejoicing greatly in the Lord”.

How can we rejoice even when fasing seemingly insurmountable obstacles and challenges? Try to start every day with sincere gratitude and count your blessings. Write them down, text them to your child, a spouse or a friend. If you are so short…
